Oscar winner Jennifer Hudson had a dreamy 27th birthday -- her boyfriend, "I Love New York 2" participant David Otunga proposed to her, her rep confirmed to People magazine. The "Dreamgirls" star is preparing for a busy fall with a new self-titled album (her first since competing on "American Idol") and new film, "The Secret Life of Bees."

It takes two to tango, as the old saying goes, but it may take two native Argentines to dance it right.
The winning Argentine couple, 22-year old Jose Enrique Fernandez and 19-year Melody Celatti did their country proud by winning the championships in the seductive national dance on home turf.
The competition drew to a close in downtown Buenos Aires on Monday (September 1).
Local media reported a total of 61,000 spectators came to see the nine day extravaganza.
New York’s favourite hippie-chick was looking to Egypt, where she recently spent several weeks exploring Luxor,
Karnak and Cairo, in her collection for next season. This spelt out peasant
blouses and smock dresses in Pharisaic prints, hieroglyphic patterns embellished
with fringing and chunky Cleopatra-style jewellery. But there was equally
a heavy doze of Mexicana, via boho-dresses in tequila sunrise colours, worn with embroidered espadrilles and tasselled bags.
The 16 women and two men selected to compete had to perform a series of challenges to be Hilton's new BFF, including how to look hot on a rollercoaster and making a commercial for one of
her fashion products. She has now picked a winner with whom she said she has struck up a real, off-screen friendship.
"The person who won is now my best friend. We hang out. Yeah, we're really friends," Hilton told Reuters on Tuesday.
